Yes, I meant both the game manual and the strategy guide. I'm reluctant to manage both teams' offenses because of the additional time it will take and the fact that with the fast back and forth of...

I am also a fan of letting the CPU handle the defenses while I coach both offenses. That's generally how I handle the football game as well.

One thing I learned about the basketball game and football for that matter is you can't just set the defense and let it go.  You have to pay attention to who is getting hot, which subs come in and how...

Re: Making the game fun

In my opinion the cm not only knows what it's doing, but it knows what YOU'RE doing. Change your offensives, slowdown, fast, press sometime, trap others, vary your shots and definitley go to the hot...

Another good way to learn the game is to pick a team a zoom to say half time.  Then take a look at how the computer played specific players and look at the box score.  It will give you an indication...

My feelings are actually the opposite of the original poster.  I find it too easy to win this year.  The problem for me seems to be that the computer teams simply cannot hit 3's.  Rarely do they make...

I agree with most here. Something I did for a while was to "experiment" with different coaching strategies; deny, double, loose, etc. , just to see what affect it had on different players and their...
